About ST1 Silver
Ceramic tiles on standard residential floors
Our entry-level formulation for everyday internal tiling. A dependable, non-slip bond with the holding strength routine residential jobs need, and a clear step up from sand-cement mortar.
For wall tiling choose ST2 Gold or above. ST1 is declared and tested for non-vertical (floor) application.

Key features
- Non-slip grip. Holds tiles in place on application, so they don't creep or slide before the bond sets.
- Crack resistant. Formulated to keep tiles from cracking as the surface settles over time.
- No hollow sound. A solid, even bed underneath. No hollow patches, no weak spots.

How to use
Six steps, printed on every bag

Clean the surface
The base must be firm, level and free of dust, oil, paint and loose material. Dampen very dry, absorbent surfaces and wipe away standing water.

Measure the water
For ST1 Silver: 275 ml per kg, about 5.5 litres per 20 kg bag.

Pour the adhesive
Add the powder to the water, not the other way round, while mixing.

Wait
Let the mix stand for about 5 minutes so the additives activate.

Stir
Re-mix to a smooth, lump-free paste, ideally with a drill and paddle at low speed. Do not add more water later.

Apply
Spread with a notched trowel, comb in straight lines, place the tile and press with a slight twist. Adjust within the adjustment time and grout after 24 hours.
